I hope you haven't been just keeping it open with never ever quitting and never saving. The program can load and save multiple task files.
Hi, sympathies on what must feel quite distressing. Thank you for your answer, I'll check it out. The config file should be in ~/.config/Task Coach tsk file with your name and location however you like. If you haven't saved, you'll be prompted to if you normally quit (not forced or crashed). Where are files for tasks located on linux ini file while Task Coach is closed to see if that helps. I don't know about the specific error, maybe Jerome knows something.

I'm not familiar with how AppImage, Flatpaks and Snaps work, but if everything is self-contained I would think that a printer has to be defined within the bundle unless it has some kind of handler in there to access system functions (printers and what-not) outside the bundle. I still have not seen anything that can replace it. I'm slowly moving a lot of my organizing to simple text files for some references, but my important personal tasks for my life are still in Task Coach now. I still use Task Coach myself, and I would keep doing all I can if we had some programmers helping with the code, if development were not stagnant. There are just things nothing else handles as well. I would love if some uncompromised FLO task management project would take insights from Task Coach in the design. I imagine that starting fresh would make more sense today. I don't know what it would take to get someone to get the code all updated to Python3 and then to continue development from there. Hi there! Anything new around this issue? That appimage runs very unstable, crashes on simple actions, like doubleclicking a task.
